Zusammenfassung:	ÿþr The present invention relates to a detergent composition for effective stain removal. It is an object of the present invention to provide a detergent composition having a non- phosphate precipitating builder which is effective against hydrophobic stains. It is yet another object of the present invention to provide a detergent composition which can be used at lower wash temperatures. It is yet another object of the present invention to provide a detergent composition which is environment friendly. It has been determined by the present inventors that a detergent composition having a combination of specific bleach activator, a non-phosphate precipitating builder and an enzyme provides for effective removal of stains particularly the tough hydrophobic stains.
