Zusammenfassung:	A drum conveyor (14) for conveying free-flowing coating material (50) from a bottom filling position to a top release position comprising a drum (66) which can rotate about a substantially horizontal longitudinal axis. The drum (66) comprises an outer wall (102) with side walls (104) which, as seen in the axial direction, are arranged on either side of the outer wall (102) and extend partially inwards from the outer wall (102). The drum (66) comprises a number of partitions (105) which extend between the side walls (104), from the outer wall (102) inwards, in such a manner that the partitions (105), side walls (104) and outer wall (102) delimit a number of conveying compartments (68). The conveying compartments (68) are at least partially open on the inner side. Of at least two conveying compartments (68), at least one of the parts (102, 104, 105) which delimit the conveying compartments (68) are different in terms of shape and/or dimensions, in such a manner that the release positions of the conveying compartments (68) are distributed over an arc segment of the drum conveyor (14).
