Zusammenfassung:	The manipulator can be used in the metal casting industry for transporting of castings for automobile from vertical machines for counter-pressure casting. It comprises a stand (1), basic (2) and positioning arms (3), in succession pivotally connected. The positioning arm (3) is connected to stand (1) by a basic transmission. To the positioning arm (3), a plate-type cross-bar (4) connected to the basic arm (2) by means of an orienting transmission, the basic arm (2) is pivotally connected to a guiding power cylinder (13), fixed to a base power cylinder (14), pivotally connected to stand (1). The lengths of the basic (2) and the positioning arm (3) have a ratio from 1.4 to 2, and gear ratio ib of the basic transmission is from 2.5 to 3.1. The gear ratio of the orienting transmission is io = 1 - 1/ib. 3 claims, 2 figures
