DEVICE FOR STRETCHING THE CHAIN IN A CHAIN-SAW

The device is designed for building into chain-saws finding application in the woodworking and civil engineering industries and as a household tool. By means of it, the chain is quickly stretched without using any other tools. The device includes a common housing (1) to which a profile plate (3) is fabricated, on which a longitudinal tooth (4) is machined, fitted in a longitudinal channel (5) of guide (2). On both sides of channel (5), inner teeth (7) of a profiled plate (8) are fitted. On it an outer tooth (9) is also machined, which is fitted in a spiral-like channel (10), machined on a tightening handle (11). Its flange (12) is fitted in a hole formed on a safety jacket (13). The stretching handle (11) is resting on a securing screw (14), to the free end of which a fixing handle (15) is fitted. Along the periphery of the handle (11) grooves (16) are machined at specified distance from each other. On the outer front surface of handle (15), a diametric pin (17) is formed. 1 claim, 4 figures
