LOCKING MECHANISM FOR KNIFE-TYPE SAWS

The mechanism shall find application in civil engineering, woodworking and the residential equipment. It is designed for fitting of knife-type saws to transportable machines. By it they are being assembled and disassembled quickly, and the structure is reliable and simplified. The mechanism comprises a body (1) in which a body part (2) is fixed, and a longitudinal groove (3) being machined along its diameter. On the lower external surface of the body part (2) a locking bushing (4) is fitted with a facility for axial shifting, fixed in its lower end position by a spacer step (5) and helical spring (6). In the lower end of groove (3) a fixing hole (8) is machined, in which a retention tooth (9) of the knife-type saw (10) is fitted. The longitudinal groove (3), in its upper part, has a uniform section, and its extended in its lower end and it houses a flat spring (11) matching its configuration. In the upper end of the flat spring (11) a locking tooth (12) is machined which is folded towards the external edge of the body part (2).The width of the longitudinal groove (3), together with the flat spring (11) housed in it is larger than the thickness of the knife-type saw (10) fitted in groove (3). 1 claim, 2 figures
