Zusammenfassung:The method is applicable in the research and diagnostics of infectious diseases and in environmental studies. It allows to identify virulent bacteria of the Yersinia pestis type, including non-plasmidic strains. The method consists in DNA-hybridisation of chromosomal DNA with marked molecular probe, which is an EcoRI-fragment of chromosomal DNA from Yersinia pestis EV with a size of 1.3 kilobases.
