METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DIFFUSION WASHING OF CELLULOSE FROM STRAW

This method and device are used for diffusion washing of cellulose from straw, derived in rotating cauldrons with periodic action following the alkaline methods. With this method, the production capacity of the technological scheme is enhanced. Meanwhile, the method saves heat, chemicals, electricity, water and environmental pollution upon washing and assortment of the cellulose, and concentration of the black regeneration lye.The method entails the following operations, which are carried out continuously : movement of the cellulose mass under the action of gravitation forces; the extraction of black regeneration lye; injection of rotational black lye; and draining the cellulose mass. The device for implementing the method consists of a blow-out reservoir (1), in the cylindrical part of which is concentrically located a cylindrical sieve, consisting of ring-shaped sectors (2) with two outlets (3), diametrically located in the walls of the reservoir, an inlet with a syringe (4), for injecting lye in the top spherical part of the reservoir, an inlet with a syringe (5) for injecting lye in the bottom conical part of the reservoir, and an outlet (6) in the bottom conical part of the reservoir for draining the cellulose mass.
