POLYESTER PRESSMATERIAL

The press material is used in the electrochemical industry and machine building. It has low flammability and high thermal resistance combined with a high mechanical resistance and a low shrinking tendency, as well as excellent electrical insulation properties. The polyester press material contains: unsaturated oligomer, thermoplastic, radical polymerisation initiator, mineral fillers, alkali-free glass fibres, lubricating agent, alkali-earth oxides and pigments. The unsaturated oligomer is a solution of 20-60 parts by mass of unsaturated terephthalic oligoesterimide in a polymerisable monomer and also contains, in parts by mass: 0.1-1.5 radical polymerisation initiator; 0.1-25 thermoplastic; 20-60 mineral fillers, including 20-50 aluminium hydroxide and in this case, 0.5-10 antimony trioxide and/or 5-25 chalk; 0.5-2.5 oiling agent; 0.25-1 alkali-earth oxides and occasionally, 0.1-5 pigments.
