DERIVATIVES OF PHENYLETHANOL AMINE, METHOD FOR THEIR PREPARATION AND USE THEREOF

The derivatives of phenylethanol amine are used in stock farming as a means of increasing the weight growth and decreasing the deposition of fats in warm-blooded animals. They have the following general formula /I/:in which X is hydrogen or halogen; Y is hydrogen, amino or NHCOR5; Z is hydrogen, halogen or OH; R1 is hydrogen or alkyl with C1-4, R2 is hydrogen, alkyl with C1-4, alkenyl with C3-4; R3 is hydrogen, alkyl with C1-6, cycloalkyl with C3-6, methoxypropyl, alkenyl with C3-4, 2-hydroxyethyl, α, α-dimethyl phenethyl or benzyl, R2 and R3 along with the nitrogen atom form morpholinic or N-alkylpiperasine radical; R4 is hydrogen, hydroxy or OR6; R5 - alkyl with C1-6 provided R2 is hydrogen when R3 is phenyl, 2-hydroxy ethyl, α, α-dimethyl phenethyl, cycloalkyl with C3-6, benzyl or methoxypropyl; when Z is OH, X and Y are hydrogen; if Y is amino group, then R1 and R2 are other than hydrogen and R4 is other than OH; as well as their non-toxic addition salts with acids. They are obtained by reacting substituted styrene oxide with the following general formula /II/:using substituted amine with the following general formula /III/ HNR2R3, or by dissolving compounds from formula (I), where R4 is OH, in an alcohol with the formula R6OH, and saturating the solution with dry hydrogen chloride. These compounds can be used as food additives, injection solutions or implantants.
