Zusammenfassung: | The drip pan is used in the power industry, in particular for water cooling towers having fan or natural draft. It increases the efficiency or arresting the drops with improved rigidity with the individual lamellas. The drip pan consists of parallely arranged lamellas (1) which, by means of remote connection components (3) are tied in a packet. Each lamella (1) is corrugated on both its sides - laterally by means of large corrugations and longitudinally by small corrugations. The profile of the corrugations is an isosceles trapeze the small base of which is rounded and forms the tip of the corrugated part. In the upper end of the drip pan in outlet direction of the air flow each of their lamellas (1) has a formed edge which includes a horizontal (5) and vertical (6) section directed outwards from the drip pan. Section (5)is directed to the interior of the corrugated chamber formed between two adjacent lamellas (1) forming an obtuse angle with the wall of the same lamella (1) and an acute angle with the wall of the preceding lamella (1).The transitions between sections (5 & 6) and between the horizontal section (5) and the wall of lamella (1) are rounded. 1 claim, 5 figures |
