METHOD FOR CONTROL THE UNIFORMITY OF RUNNING OUT OF POWDER LIKE MATERIALS

A method for keeping constant the flow rate of a bulk material consists in subjecting the bulk material to the influence of an electric field of high voltage to generate on its particles surface-bound charges and passing the thus charged bulk material through an electromagnetic field of continuously registered intensity and, depending on the change of the field intensity, in determining the degree of variation of the flow rate of the bulk material from its preset value. A device for controlling the low rate comprises an inductance coil (1) oriented coaxially around a diamagnetic pipe (2) from which the bulk material flows. The primary winding (4) of the coil is connected to a direct current source whereas the secondary winding (5) of the coil is connected to an indicator (6). The device comprises as well two electrodes intended for generating surface-bound charges on the particles of the bulk material, one (7) of the electrodes being mounted inside a bunker, on the way of the low of the bulk material and both electrodes being connected to a high voltage source (8).
