Zusammenfassung:	A device for electrokinetic separation of the drilling mud into a liquid and a solid phase comprising a reservoir (1) with an inlet (17) for the drilling mud and outlets (3, 5) for its separated phases; electrodes (3, 4) located inside that reservoir, one (3) of them being connected to the negative pole of a direct current source and another electrode (4) being connected to the positive pole and represents in itself a chamber (6) with a perforated wall (6a) connected to a closed system for circulating electroconductive liquid. The chamber (6) of the electrode (4), connected to the positive pole, is so designed that its perforated wall (6a) is located in front of the bottom (3) of the reservoir (1), that bottom being of a netted structure and serving as an outlet for the liquid phase resulting from the electrokinetic separation of the drilling mud.
