ANALYZER OF TOOTH PROJECTIONS AND THE TOOTHLESS JAWS IN THE HORIZONTAL PLANE

The analyzer is used in dentistry. It can simultaneously register, re-draw and overlap the projections of the toothless jaws of the upper and lower teeth in a horizontal plane. It comprises two solid basic plates (1) for mounding the Plaster-of-Paris models of the upper and lower jaws, respectively, and an analyzing transparent plate (2) fitted between the solid basic plates (1). The three plates (1, 2) are strung over two columns (3) with a facility for mutual parallel vertical motion. On the transparent plate (2) a colourless propylene foil is fitted. On both its sides the projections of the toothless jaws of the upper and lower teeth, the boundaries of the prosthesis field or elements of the occlusive relief of the masticator tooth surfaces are re-drawn. The foil can be single, on which drawing is made on both sides using different colour, or alternatively use two different foils.
