Zusammenfassung: | The method is materialized by reduced energy amount in the separation of the hydroxyacetone, by limiting the phenol losses. It is used for the separation of hydroxyacetone from phenol-containing hydroxyacetone which is produced in acidic catalytic degradation of cumenehydroperoxide by the steam-like phenol-containing hydroxyacetone with a base. Combination is made between a distillation and reaction column when either the steam-like phase taken from the head of the distillation column is fed to a reactor where it reacts with the base, or the reaction takes place in a distillation column which is supplied not only with the distilled phenol-containing hydroxyacetone but also with the base. The method can also be applied in the flotation of the raw phenol removed as waste in the Hawk's synthesis. 10 claims, 3 figures |
