Zusammenfassung: | The engine can find application for driving transport vehicles in the open space - interstellar and inter-planetary space ships and others. It is of simplified design and small weight, forming its own traction without ejecting any mass, helping the maintenance of a relatively small but permanent artificial gravitation practically for the whole time of the space flight. The engine does not pollute space using only electric power, and its shape allows it to be built-in in accessible room in the external supporting structure of the ship which reduces the requirements for its strength characteristics and frees the entire interior for other purposes. The simplified design allows the performance of basic repair works of the engine during the space flight. The engine comprises an electric motor producing in rotary motion a radially positioned working canal (1) closed in a housing (2), and in the plane of its revolving the housing (2) an elongated hole is formed which is the beginning of an U-shaped tube, fixed to housing (2), made of three sections: working tube (3), folded part (4) and a back tube (5) ending with a start-up apparatus(6). The latter's end is found on the inner side of the housing (2) in a machined arc-like hole found near the centre of or rotation. By the start-up apparatus (6) in the working canal (1) operating bodies (7) are periodically released, each of which performs an accelerating motion in the working canal (1) and leaving it gets into the operating tube (3) where it performs a deceleration motion, and with an end velocity close, but different from zero in respect of the tube, enters the folded part (4) and moves further in the back tube (5) to the start-up apparatus (6). On the operating (3) and the back (5) tube induction coils (8) are mounted, and each operating body (7) is a soft magnet or magnetic dipole . The movement of the operating bodies (7) in the operating tube (3) and the back pipe (5) is computer controlled by sensors and is adjusted by the intensity of the electromagnetic fields. 6 claims, 3 figures |
