Zusammenfassung: | The furnace includes a rectangular working space surrounded by a floor with bilaterally inclined arc-type vault, two side and two front walls. In one of the front walls is the firing port of the fuel combustion device and the port for the evacuation of the flue gases. Next to one of the side walls an external side a metal receptacle is built, and an additional intermediate arc-type vault is formed which is built under the port for the torch and the port for the evacuation of the flue gasses, respectively. The intermediate vault in the working space has sufficient length to prevent any hydrodynamic interaction between the ports for the incoming and outgoing gas flow. The refractory floor has a two-side slope starting from the lower level of the technological opening for servicing the furnace. It is built at a slope of 23-27 degrees to 1/3 of the furnace length after which slope angle changes from 3 to 5 degrees up to the intersection line of the floor surface and the plane dividing the side metal receptacle into two symmetrical parts, and from the said line to the opposite end of the furnace the floor is built with an ascending slope of from 3 to 5 degrees. 4 claims, 3 figures |
