BEACH PARASOL FOR ULTRAVIOLET PROTECTION

The parasol is designed both for forming shadow and forallowing the body to be sunbathed under the solar rays. Asemitransparant cover for sunbathing (1) is fixed on the radial ismounted on the radial spikes (6) of the parasol on the place ofthe material for making the shade, characteristic for standardumbrellas by stiching. Under this cover (1) the shadow cover ismounted consisting of separate triangular sections (2) each beingfixed by its peak to the stem of the parasol by means of a fixedrim (7). The other two ends of sections (2) are caught by elasticloops (8) to the ends of the radial spikes (9) When all triangularsections (2) are hung to the ends of spikes (9), they form anoctagonal cover forming the shadow. When sections (2) are detachedfrom spikes (9) only the semi-transparent cover for sunbathing (1)remains unfolded and the light freely passed through it. Cover (1)is in the form of net-type material impregnated either bytransparent resin containing natural mixture of chlorophyll andalkaloids attributing it a green colour (green parasol), or resincontaining violet dye (violet parasol) strongly absorbing the UVrays.4 claims, 8 figures\!
