Zusammenfassung:The chlorinated tetrahydro-2-benzazepines have the following formula in which n is 1 or 2, where, if n has the value 2, the chlorine atoms are arranged vicinally with respect to each other, and, if n = 1, the chlorine atom is located in the 8 position. The novel compounds can also be present as pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts. The novel compounds may be used in drugs which are employed for inhibiting norepinephedrine N-methyl transferase.
