Zusammenfassung:Catalysts for the polymerisation or copolymerisation of olefins, partic. ethylene and propylene, consists of a compelx of formula D-O-MXn-1 mMXn, formed by the reaction of MX on D, M is a transition metal of gps. IVA or Va; X is halogen; n is the valency of M; M is 7-50, D is a electron-donor ligand e.g. (a) polyglycolether-monoatomic alcohols. R-(CH2CH2O)k-OH with R = C6H13 to C9H19, k = 3-9, (b) polyglycoletherspolyols, R(COOCH2)2C CH2(CH2CH2O)k-OH 2 WITH R = C4H9 to C6H13, k = 25-29, (c) polyglycol esters - carboxylic acids, R-CO(CH2CH2O)kOH with R = C11H23 to C17-H35 k = 10-160, or (d) anhydrosorbites of carboxylic acids of formula with R = C11H23 to C17H35, k++k2+k3 = 20-85. A typical system is C17H53CO(CH2CH2O)40O-TiCl3 14 TiCl4-(i-C4H9)2AlCl. There is no difficultly in sepg. the catalyst from the polymer.
