Zusammenfassung:A movable coke quenching system employing a coke receiving vehicle movable on rails between a coke receiving station and a coke dumping station. The vehicle includes a coke receiving cavity with an overlying hood. A combination draft inducing and gas scrubbing device in the form of a two-phase jet system is in fluid communication with the hood to withdraw and scrub gaseous and particulate emissions from the coke as it is received in the cavity and quenched therein.
