Zusammenfassung:1316069 Hypoglycemic composition SMITH KLINE & FRENCH LABORATORIES 5 April 1972 [6 April 1971] 15691/72 Heading A5B [Also in Division C2] A hypoglycemic composition consists of dosage units comprising (a) a compound of formula: where R is H, CH 3 or C 2 H 5 ; R 1 is H, acetyl, phenyl, benzyl or benzoyl and the SR 1 group is meta to the nitrogen atom and (b) a carrier. The active compound may be picolinic acid 3- thiol, methyl picolinate 3-thiol, 3-acetylthiopicolinic acid, 3-benzoylthiopicolinic acid or 3- phenylthiopicolinic acid. The composition may be packed in gelatin capsules.
