Zusammenfassung:	1304806 Flame retardant compositions HERCULES Inc 19 April 1971 [26 Feb 1970] 22075/71 Headings C3P and C3R A flame retardant composition comprises a readily flammable polymer and up to 20% by weight of the composition of a bromine-containing polyether having a bromine content of at least 48% by weight and being a polymer of in which R is a bromine-substituted methyl group, R 1 is R or a chloromethyl, alkoxymethyl or alkyl group and R 2 and R 3 are hydrogen or an alkyl group. Examples describe moulding compositions of poly(3,3-bis-(bromo-methyl)- oxetane) with (1) polyethylene terephthalate, (2) polyethylene terephthalate/glass fibre composition, (3) polypropylene, (4) polystyrene and (5) a curable unsaturated polyester comprising maleic anhydride, phthalic anhydride, propylene glycol and styrene. The compositions may also contain antimony trioxide.
