1296488 Pigmented stabilized oxymethylene polymer compositions CELANESE CORP 7 Sept 1970 [15 Sept 1969] 42711/70 Heading C3P A composition comprises (a) an oxymethylene polymer, e.g. trioxan-ethylene oxide copolymer, (b) a pigment, e.g. carbon black, TiO 2 , phthalo blue, mercadium red or chromium oxide green, (c) a nitrogen-containing tertiary phosphine oxide or organic phosphine, e.g. tris- (2 - carbamoylethyl)phosphine oxide and analogous cyano substituted phosphines and phosphine oxides, (d) an antioxidant, e.g. bis - (2 - hydroxy - 3 - t - butyl - 5 - methyl phenyl)methane, (c) a basic metal i.e. alkaline earth or aluminium oxide, e.g. CaO, BaO, Al 2 O 3 or MgO, and (f) a polyamide derived from a polyamine and aliphatic polycarboxylic acid in the presence of an aromatic or hydrogenated aromatic polycarboxylic acid chain terminator, e.g. product of reacting dimeric linoleic acid mixture, ethylene diamine, and hydrogenated phthalic acid.
