Zusammenfassung:	A computer-implemented method for updating an object on a mobile device is provided. The computer-implemented method includes maintaining at a server a plurality of channels, the plurality of channels including at least a first representation of the object, generating a modification event when a change to the object is detected, responsive to the modification event, at least updating the representation of the object yielding a second representation of the object, and conveying, during a synchronization process, the second representation of the object to the mobile device.
