Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are rice blast and wheat leaf rust control agents and methods for controlling rice blast and wheat leaf rust. The rice blast control agent or the wheat leaf rust control agent comprises a compound represented by formula (I): wherein R represents alkyl group or alkenyl group and R represents a hydrogen atom or methoxy group. The compound represented by formula (I) has potent preventive and exterminating activity against rice blast and wheat leaf rust and does not have phytotoxicity against object plants for preventing and exterminating the diseases.
