Release device for releasing a liquid containing an active ingredient into a toilet bowl

The invention relates to a device for releasing a liquid (5) containing an active ingredient into a toilet bowl (1). Said device comprises a holder (2) and a reservoir (4) for the liquid (5) containing an active ingredient, said reservoir being placed in the holder (2) in such a way that it can be replaced. The container comprises an outlet (6) which is closed by means of a sealing element (7) which is prestressed in the closing position and can be moved into a release position. An actuating element (8) is provided for this purpose and is triggered during each flushing process by the flushing liquid, in such a way that the sealing element (7) takes on the release position. The holder (2) comprises a connection piece (20) which is connected to the outlet (6) in a sealed manner. The sealing element (7) and the actuating element (8) are thus not forcibly influenced by the reservoir (4) to be inserted.
