Zusammenfassung: | Bleaching of a lignocellulose-contg. matl. by the gas phase chlorination of a 20-40% (pref. 30%) pulp combined with displacement bleaching with ClO2 as an oxidation agent, is improved in that the spent liquor from the ClO2-stage is used as a displacing agent to dilute an unbleached or preliminarily O2-bleached pulp, the pulp is concentrated before the gas phase chlorination to a solids content >=30% (pref. >=40%), and the gas phase chlorination is carried ut at an elevated temp. pref. for less than 2 mins. Spent solns. from the ClO2-stage is utilised, whereby the total consumption of water is considerably reduced and the heat economy is improved. |
