Zusammenfassung: | Installation removes solid particles from the water circulating system of a cooling tower. Water and sediment are pumped from the circulating system collection tank to a screw which passes water to be treated into a first settling tank. Water is pumped from the bottom of the first tank to a first hydrocyclone separator which delivers water back to a second settling tank. Water is pumped from the bottom of the second tank to a second hydrocyclone separator which returns water to a third settling tank. Water is pumped from the third tank to a third hydrocyclone separator which makes fully treated water available for return to the cooling tower circulation system. The first hydrocyclone separator pref. removes all particles above 74 microns. The second separator pref. passes liq. from which 95 percent of the sand and mud received from the first separator is removed. Water discharged by the third hydrocyclone separator is pref. passed to a holding tank from which it is pumped back to the cooling tower system. The installation is used to remove sand, silt etc. from the circulating water tank of a cooling tower. Sepn. can be extended to achieve any required degree of clarity. The installation is efficient, robust and very easy to operate and maintain, including no moving parts except in pumps. |
