Novel N-vinyloxyethyl- alpha -methyl- beta -phenethylamines represented by the formula -CH2-CH-NH-CH2-CH2-O-CH=CH2 ¦ CH3 wherein R is H, halo or CF3 and acid addition salts thereof. The compounds are useful as appetite depressants.
