New polymorphous form of doxazosin mesylate (Form II)

Form II polymorph of doxazosin (1-(4-amino-6,7-dimethoxy-2-quinazolinyl)-4-Ä(2,3-dihydro-1,4-benzodio xin-2-yl)carbonylÜpiperazine) mesylate (I) is new, where (I) shows X-ray diffraction angles of 10.68 degrees , 14.45 degrees , 17.37 degrees . 23.45 degrees , 23.82 degrees and 24.30 degrees .
