Zusammenfassung:	An absorbent article is disclosed for absorbing body fluids. The absorbent article comprises a liquid-permeable cover, a liquid-impermeable baffle and an absorbent. The absorbent includes a first and a second member wherein the first member has a width which spans the width of said absorbent article, said second member being an E-folded tissue having at least three connected layers and having a higher wicking capability than said first member, and said article having a thickness of less than about 5 mm.
