Mammal cell lines and method of obtaining glycoproteins

The invention concerns mammal cell lines, in particular hamster cell lines, which express in stable fashion the glycoproteins gp 250 (220), 350 and 250 (220)/350 as Epstein-Barr virus antigens, plus a method of obtaining these glycoproteins from cells cultivated in a protein-free medium.
