Zusammenfassung:	Compounds of formula (I), wherein R and R together represent two vicinal hydrogen atoms, or form a second bond between the vicinal carbon atoms to which they are attached; R represents H, OH, alkoxy or protected hydroxy; R represents OH; R represents H, alkyl or alkenyl; R and R independently represent O, (H,OH), (H,protected hydroxy) or (H,alkoxy); X and Y independently represent O, (H,OH) or (H,H); n is 1 or 2; or pharmaceutically acceptable derivatives thereof; are provided for the treatment of reversible obstructive airways disease, particularly asthma. Compositions containing such compounds are also disclosed.
