Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to personal care and pharmaceutical compositions comprising an alcohol, a personal care polymer, and an alcohol-masking perfumery component. These compositions can be applied to the skin, hair, or mucosa. The alcohol-masking perfumery component substantially reduces both the alcohol odor or aroma and the stinging or burning sensation in the nose or throat due to the alcohol when the compositions are sprayed or atomized.
