A PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF TITANIUM DIOXIDE

Titanium dioxide is prepared by the sulphate process, in which the liquid formed upon washing of the hydrolysate is fractionated and the dilute fraction are returned to the process, while the relatively concentrated thin acid is passed to a waste treatment process.
