A water-inlet orifice (6) is formed in the wall of this elongated volume (4), turned towards the bow of the boat and held open in order to cause the pressure stopping the water to prevail in this elongated volume (4) as soon as the boat is moving forwards, the said elongated volume (4) then being at least partially filled with water.
