Zusammenfassung:	Compounds of Formula (I): (I) Ar-O-(CH2)m (CH=CH)8 CONR R wherein Ar is a group in which each R and R is independently one or more of hydrogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, halo, alkoxy or haloalkoxy a = 1 or 2 m = 1 to 14 and R and R are independently selected from hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl and C3-6 cycloalkyl (either of which may be substituted by halo, C2-6 alkenyl, C1-6 alkyl, C3-6 cycloalkyl, alpha C3-6 heterocycle wherein the heteroatoms are one or more oxygen atoms, C1-6 alkoxy or C2-6 alkynyl) are novel and have been found to have activity against insect and acarine pests.
