Zusammenfassung:The presser-foot of the fabric presser device in a sewing machine is pivotable about an axis of a presser-bar in order to provide space in the stitching region of a needle in order to allow manipulations to be made to the needle. The fabric presser device is constructed such that the presser-foot can be pivoted or swung away from the region of the needle only when the needle and the presser-bar are in a raised or elevated position.
