Zusammenfassung:In the drilling process, a continuous line is used to move a feed pipe to a position where a hole is to be bore in rock. A line (16) is fed through the feed pipe into the bore hole, and then the pipe is pressed to seal against the bore hole wall. The process then involves feeding a cement medium through the pipe, and the pipe is then removed and the line severed. To seal the space between the line and the pipe, a seal (20) is compressed between them axially. This seal is an elastic, compressible ring forming a passage hole which is diminished radially, when the ring is axially compressed.
