Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The invention concerns a method of cutting up or trimming flat objects along cutting lines running parallel to a delivery direction (F), said flat objects being continuously delivered substantially parallel to their main surfaces in the delivery direction (F). The objects are guided between a first and a second cutting edge (SK1 and SK2) and cut by a relative movement of the two cutting edges. The first cutting edge (SK1) is thus disposed in stationary manner, for example, in a plane in which the objects rest and the second cutting edge (SK2) is guided past the first cutting edge for a cutting process such that at least the cutting point on the second cutting edge (SK2) has, in the delivery direction, a speed component which is equal to the delivery speed and a speed component perpendicular to the resting plane. This is preferably brought about in a pivot movement of the second cutting edge (SK2) about a pivot axis (M) which is disposed above the resting surface, the distance (y) and the pivot speed ( omega ), in order to satisfy the above condition, being adapted accordingly to each other and to the delivery speed. Advantageously, a plurality of second cutting edges (SK2) are disposed in a star-shaped manner in a plane perpendicular to the pivot axis (M) and the arrangement is rotated by the second cutting edges (SK2) at a constant speed ( omega ) about the pivot axis (M).
