Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a blended preparation for the separation especially of coal particles from the tailings which are contained in the fines produced in coal mining. The blended preparation is used instead of or in addition to the conventional froth oil. The blended preparation comprises froth oil, flocculating agent, emulsifying agent, water and optionally, anti-freeze. The use of the preparation results in faster separation and saving in flocculating agent.
