Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a method and composition for providing nutrition to long-term care patients in different forms. In particular, a composition is utilized that can be administered in a solid, semi-solid or liquid form. Irrespective of the form selected, the composition includes a protein source including from approximately 14% to 25% of the caloric distribution of the composition and a carbohydrate source including from approximately 40% to 75% of the caloric distribution of the composition.
