Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a non-toxic immunogenic derivative of C. botulinum type D neurotoxin or an immunogenic fragment thereof, said derivative or fragment carrying at least one mutation in its amino acid sequence, not found in wild-type D neurotoxins. The invention also extends to a nucleotide sequence comprising a recombinant DNA fragment characterised in that said DNA fragment encodes a non-toxic immunogenic derivative of C. botulinum type D BoNT or an immunogenic fragment thereof.
