Zusammenfassung:	2-Chlorallyl-cis and 2-chloroallyl-trans-2,5-dimethyl-1-pyrrolidinecarbodithioate have selective herbicidal activity and are useful for the pre-emergence control of broad-leafed and grassy weeds. They are pref. prepd. by conversion of cis- or trans-2,5-dimethylpyrrolidine in alkaline soln., pref. NaOH soln., with CS2 into the alkali metal (pref. Na) cis- or trans-2,5-dimethyl-1-pyrrolidinecarbodithioate, and reacting this with 2,3-dichloro-1-propene.
