Zusammenfassung:1359756 Ureas FARBWERKE HOECHST AG 5 May 1972 [11 May 1971] 21098/72 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of the formula where X is O or S, R is H, halogen, CHF 2 O- or CHF 2 S-, R 1 is alkyl, alkoxy or and R 2 is H or alkyl. The compounds are prepared by (A) reacting a compound of the formula or a halide, amide or ester of a compound of the formula with (a) a compound of the formula R 1 -NH-R 2 or (b) an O-alkyl- or N-alkyl-hydroxylamine, with subsequent alkylation of the reaction product or subsequent introduction of the radical when an O-alkyl hydroxylamine is used or (c) hydroxylamine with subsequent dialkylation or monoalkylation of the OH group or introduction of the radical; or (B) reacting a compound of the formula with (a) an alkyl isocyanate or a dialkyl carbamic acid chloride, amide or ester or (b) an alkylalkoxy carbamic acid ester. The compounds may be used as herbicides.
