Electronic document storage and retrieval system and method

A software application and computer interface for indexing and retrieving computer documents. Users index their documents with a principally unlimited number of attribute buttons, each describing the content, context, environment or any other aspect or interesting feature of that document. Indexes are associated by selecting the desired object icons and clicking one or more link icons, situated on the left portion of each attribute button. Once an index is associated, the user may click on the right portion of the attribute button, referred to as an attribute icon, at any time and all files or object icons associated with that attribute will be displayed in the retrieved tab.
