Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a powder-like material for producing high temperature super conducting coatings and/or bodies, composed of a plurality of individual particles having a base body and a high temperature super-conducting surface coating (2). The base body is comprised of a plate-like substrate (1) with a front and a back main surface. The superconducting coating (2) is applied to the substrate in such a way that superconducting layers pertaining to the surface coating run at least approximately parallel to the main surfaces. When such a powder-like material is applied to a body, the main surfaces automatically align parallel to each other in such a way that the super conducting layers are also aligned substantially parallel to each other. This enables simple production of coatings or shaped bodies from high temperature superconducting materials having a high conductive capacity.
