Cosmetic method of treating skin

A cosmetic method for treating aged, sensitive, dry, flaky, wrinkled and/or photodamaged skin is provided through topical application of a composition which comprises pinolenic acid and/or derivatives thereof. The invention also relates to compositions suitable for such cosmetic treatment.
