Zusammenfassung:Abstract METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR ENCODING AND DECODING A BLOCK OF VIDEO SAMPLES An apparatus and method of converting a sample value of feature map frame data to a tensor value. The method comprises steps of determining a sample sign and a sample magnitude of the sample value and determining an adjusted sample magnitude based on the determined sample magnitude. The method then determines a tensor magnitude based on the adjusted sample magnitude and also determines a normalised tensor magnitude based on the determined tensor magnitude. Based on the normalised tensor magnitude, the method is then able to determine the tensor value.
