Zusammenfassung: | Disclosed herein is a surgical system comprising: a tracker coupled to a surgical object; a localizer including a field-of-view and being configured to detect the tracker within the field of view; and a one or more controllers coupled to the localizer and being configured to: track the surgical object based on localizer detecting the tracker; obtain, from a non-transitory memory, geometries of the surgical object and the tracker coupled to the surgical object; generate one or more virtual objects based on the geometries of the surgical object and the tracker coupled to the surgical object; generate a virtual boundary defining a region to be avoided by the one or more virtual objects; detect a condition wherein the one or more virtual objects is/are colliding or would collide with the virtual boundary; and generate a response based on detection of the condition. |
